Exploring the Art of Writing: Insights from SYNERGY's Best

Written on

As a seasoned writer and published author, I hold a deep appreciation for freelance authors and published writers. Since joining Medium, I've explored numerous subjects and assisted fellow writers in finding their unique voices and building confidence.

To facilitate this, I established six publications, each designed to empower contributors and ensure an enjoyable reading experience for our audience.

One of these is a dedicated platform for freelance writing, named SYNERGY. This publication specifically highlights stories from freelance writers and bloggers eager to transform their blogs into Medium narratives. With a strategic and entrepreneurial lens, SYNERGY aims to foster collaboration and empower writers through collective effort.

It’s a privilege for me to showcase the narratives of exceptional writers on Medium.

Additionally, I've created another publication that allows published authors to adapt their books into story formats for Medium, known as ILLUMINATION Book Chapters.

I invited both Medium authors and many Indie writers from various platforms to join us, enabling them to monetize their published works while attracting new readers through repurposed chapters. Many authors began compiling their stories into manuscripts and submitting sections to this publication.

ILLUMINATION is well-known, but a distinctive collection called ILLUMINATION-Curated features thousands of remarkable stories from accomplished authors. Following Medium's cleanup of fake accounts, we now enjoy a robust readership supporting these significant publications.

Technology writers can find a home for their tech narratives, including topics like artificial intelligence, while prolific writers can share additional stories through ILLUMINATION'S MIRROR.

My publications currently support over 18,000 writers on Medium, with the assistance of 115 volunteer editors who provide clear guidance to adhere to platform rules and enhance the chances of success. I also created a free virtual platform that connects over 14,000 writers for collaboration via Slack.

Writing is a broad topic on Medium.

I take pleasure in writing about writing, especially to aid newcomers. My contributions have established me as a top writer in this category, a status I've maintained by consistently sharing essential content on this theme.

Writing is not merely a cognitive skill for me; it serves as a therapeutic outlet as well.

Moreover, writing can be a viable source of income. I've provided guidance on increasing writing revenue and shared one of my books on Medium to help writers embark on affiliate marketing ventures for passive income. Many have learned to utilize social media effectively through our extended services.

This post was inspired by inquiries from new and aspiring writers regarding resources to kickstart their journey on Medium. Some writers transitioning from blogging seek to learn about storytelling, and these narratives could serve as excellent examples for them.

This entry serves as a quick start, aiming to motivate writers and connect them with experienced authors to learn from their insights.

Within this post, you'll find a glimpse of writing stories from SYNERGY. While there are countless narratives, I've selected a few from my reading list to share.

I thoroughly enjoy reading the experiences of these talented writers. Each narrative offers unique insights and perspectives, showcasing various engaging writing styles from which we can all learn.

These are not just ordinary stories. Many of these exceptional pieces have been curated by Medium and span multiple topics such as #writing, #freelancing, #books, #creativity, #money, #productivity, #mindfulness, #work, #art, #business, #leadership, #startups, and more. Among the six publications, SYNERGY is the most curated due to the high level of experience among its contributing writers.
