Happy Weekend!
The purpose of this message is to inform you that we have granted you writer access to our publications. We are thrilled to have you aboard and look forward to reading, publishing, and promoting your stories.
We support a wide network of integrated publications serving over 24,000 writers, many of whom actively contribute to ILLUMINATION Integrated Publications on Medium.com. This vibrant and diverse community empowers every ethical writer aiming to engage their audience.
Our collaboration platform operates on Slack, where new writers receive invitations once added to our publications.
Rest assured, we do not reject any ethical writer. If you can't find the publications on your list, please let us know via Slack, and we will rectify the issue. You may also contact Dr. Mehmet Yildiz directly for assistance if you encounter problems.
If you have access to Slack, it confirms your registration. If not, please reapply, as your previous entry may have been lost or incorrectly submitted. Make sure to provide your correct ID.
Upon joining us, the first step is to familiarize yourself with the onboarding materials, which contain crucial information. Experienced writers may already know much of this, while newcomers should take the time to understand how the platform operates.

As of August 2023, Medium implemented significant changes affecting the Partner Program, writers, and publications, emphasizing quality over quantity.
Therefore, please submit only one high-quality story per day. Check our monthly updates for the latest changes on Medium. We have also introduced a new curation service for well-crafted stories.
Why do ILLUMINATION editors return some stories?
There are several reasons for this, but the main one may be that your story does not align with the new submission rules, contains too many language errors, or lacks image captions. For instance, we no longer accept stories about Medium.
Editors usually send a private message explaining why a story is being returned. You can read this message by clicking on the * (star) icon, typically located at the top right of your story.
Don’t worry; having a story sent back doesn't mean it's rejected or unworthy. We value all ethical writers as long as they adhere to platform rules. Editors may request revisions or suggest submitting to other publications that might be a better fit.

Practical Guidance for Absolute Beginners
We summarize essential points in four sections, detailed in the master onboarding pack.
1. How to submit your stories to publications Once you've written your first story, follow these simple steps. With practice, this will become second nature. Many new writers have waited for days due to not knowing this feature.
When drafting your story, click on the three dots in the top right corner, select "add to publication," choose ILLUMINATION or another relevant publication, and submit your story. Once in the publication queue, editors will review and publish if your story meets the standards. If not, they will leave a private message requesting revisions or suggest transferring it to a more suitable publication.
2. Use Copyright-Free Images and Remember to Caption Them It's crucial to add captions to photos and avoid using copyrighted images. Violating copyright can result in significant legal penalties. Several writers have faced fines, and we want to prevent this from happening to you. Please respect our editors' requests, as they have your best interests in mind. Only use images available for reuse.
If you are new to Medium, review the Photo Handling Policy before you start, as it is a common issue that delays publishing. Writers who do not comply with our photo policy will be removed from publications.
3. We don’t accept AI-generated content Our publications do not accept content created by AI tools. However, we have a solution for writers who wish to use such tools: submit your stories to our new publication, the Lampshade of ILLUMINATION.
4. What is Slack, and why should writers join this group? Slack is a private collaboration tool. Unlike social media, it facilitates direct communication among writers, editors, and publication owners. It allows for quick resolution of issues regarding your stories or questions you may have. Our moderated Slack group has over 18,000 members, providing opportunities to share story links and gain visibility. You can customize your notifications as desired.

Not every well-written piece will be boosted, but we aim to delight our readers who support the growth of writers.
